Pulmolux is a complete solution for ventilation, perfusion and structural mapping of the lung using conventional MRI. Short, comfortable imaging protocols that are easily tailored to your circumstances allow Pulmolux to unlock a wealth of functional and structural information in 3D without the need for complex and expensive preparations, ionising radiation or additional software.

Simple. Safe. Stunning.

Pulmolux. Catch Their Breath.

Conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), pulmonary embolism (PE) and cystic fibrosis (CF) can be difficult to characterise and complex to manage. Localised alterations in lung function can play a key role with wide variabilities between individuals and throughout the time course of the disease. Conventional radiological imaging has become a crucial tool in understanding many pulmonary conditions, but information on lung structure is only part of the picture.

Pulmolux is different.

Pulmolux offers a suite of detailed reports that can be tuned to your needs.

Pulmolux:oe

uses oxygen as a ventilation contrast agent to deliver a whole lung assessment of regional lung function and requires nothing more than a standard MRI scanner - 1.5 T or 3.0 T - and an oxygen supply.

Pulmolux:dce

provides information on lung perfusion and vascular status using conventional MRI contrast agents.

Pulmolux:structure

delivers biomechanical and tissue density endpoints with no additional requirements.

Scan, Send, See

means no software to install as images are uploaded from your PACS to our servers and detailed, quantitative reports are returned in the format of your choice providing the information you need.

Adding Pulmolux to your imaging capability is simple. Flexible, easily implemented acquisition protocols are available that can be tailored to suit your needs and unleash the full spectrum of functional and structural results.
